Guest apartment
Complete renovation of an apartment in an old building — original wooden doors and parquet kept, new kitchen, bathroom and built-in furniture
An apartment in an old building, prepared for short-term rental. The original wooden sliding doors between the living and dining rooms and the herringbone parquet were restored and kept as the centre of the interior.
The kitchen, bathroom and both bedrooms were built anew: handleless white fronts, wooden worktops and splashback, wall-to-wall built-in wardrobes with wooden handles and a workspace in a niche. Warm light from wall lights and rattan lamps, textiles and vintage accents like the Singer sewing machine give the space a homely character.
