Central Office Reborn
A city apartment reimagined as a contemporary office in the heart of Sofia
Central Office Reborn is a transformation project that reimagines an existing urban apartment as a contemporary office environment in the heart of Sofia.
The concept is built around a dialogue between the original character of the space and the needs of modern working life. The existing architecture has been reinterpreted through clean lines, carefully selected materials, and refined details, creating a sense of calm, continuity, and visual lightness.
Rather than erasing the apartment’s past, the new design gives it a new purpose. The residential scale and atmosphere have been preserved as part of the interior’s identity, while the spatial organization, lighting, and furnishings have been adapted to the dynamics of a contemporary workplace.
The result is a working environment that moves away from the conventional corporate office — warmer, more natural, and closely connected to the human scale.
Central Office Reborn offers a new interpretation of the urban interior — a place with a history, given a new life and a new purpose.
